My oh my, another month has gone by! [...] Maybe he’s still a toddler. Not sure when that label is supposed to be old news, but more and more I just see little boy. A little boy with distinct characteristics that give us a peek into what he is to become. [...] This is the monthly Remy update for this month. A little late, but hey I’m doing my best over here. [...] We’re up to 29 months of age – almost 2 1/2 years old. Already. Technically, 29 months officially happens next Monday, but I’ll have some lengthy race report to post then so I’m getting a head start here. [...] Remy is now 28 months and into size 3T clothes. He makes me laugh every day. Here’s the latest things of note to record for posterity. [...] Young children are learning machines and Remy is no different. It’s a blast watching him pick up new skills, combining ideas in new ways and generally finding supplementary ways for making trouble. Here we go for the latest. [...] Here we are at about 25 months. The little man continues to grow and learn and do all sorts of funny things. Here’s the latest. [...] Well, well, well. Here we are one month past Remy’s 2nd birthday and those days when he was a tiny infant are fading into a fuzzy history. He’s a little boy with all sorts of wonderful characteristics that does brilliant things. He also has some traits that are absolutely nutty- the kind of nutty where [...] Typically, I like to do these on or around Remy’s monthly “anniversary”, but since the 7th coincided with our weekend adventure in the mountains, this didn’t happen quite so promptly. This delay suggests neither a lack of excitement nor activity, so here’s hoping I can remember most of it. [...] Today Remy is 22 months, although I’ve mostly stopped giving his age in months and just tell people he’s almost 2, to which they respond, “Wow, he’s big!” Nothing new there, but here’s an update for grandmothers, other toddler parents and my future self to read about.
