No idea what he means, but maybe you’ll understand what lurks in the depths of the introspective pre-schooler mind. [...] I’m overdue for a Remy update. Not that everyone’s waiting with bated breath for this, but the future me will appreciate that I take the time to do this. These updates are a great written history. [...] A big fascination for me is watching others grow and learn. This means that one of the greatest joys of being a parent for me is having a front-row seat to a small human undergoing physical, emotional and mental development in hyper-drive. These little ones are all at once unique individuals and mirrors of our traits and foibles. They are being replaced by the quarterly Big Boy Broadcast, of which this is the first installation. [...] We’re nearing 3 1/2 years. We’re not quite there, but close, and seem poised to enter the developmental stage of endless questions. Why? Why? Why? More than five times eventually, but he’s starting us out easy, with only a couple why’s and a few how’s and what’s mixed in for good measure. [...] We are sooo in trouble.
