Alert! Alert! If anyone cares…
I just discovered that the other triathlon race series put on by Setup Events (yes, we have that many options around here and that doesn’t even count other smaller players like FS Series and others) has added an open wave. Also there might be a couple of pennies awarded to those Master’s people who do well in 4 of the series’ races. PLUS most of these races are a piddly hour drive from my house, so the expense of overnight stays is minimized. Score!
Anyway, I’ve switched things around and added a couple of April running races to the 2011 race schedule. I also added Battle at Buckhorn, or Battle at Buckle-Horn, as Gary calls it. First female and male win a belt buckle. Waaaaay cool if I can pull it off, although I’m not so sure how race ready I’ll be in May.
Oh, hey. Look what was delivered on our front porch today? Nice, huh? I’ve got a nice new kit to wear on my ride tomorrow!
Uh oh… I got a piece of that sweet belt buckle last year, and I’m prepared to put up a good fight for another! Looks like that fight just got quite a bit tougher… Game on! : )
