Product Love – 365 Everyday Value Peanut Butter

I eat entirely too much peanut butter.  Although I eat gobs of the nutty goodness, that doesn’t mean I’m not picky about my brand.

I like my peanut butter to include (1) peanuts and (2) salt.  That’s it.  Sure, I do love to treat myself with the occasional jar of Peanut Butter and Company white chocolate flavor, but the staple in our cabinet is straight up peanuts and salt.

Our favorite peanut butter is the Whole Foods store brand – 365 Everyday Value brand.    The stir variety.  I don’t even care if it’s creamy or crunchy.  Doesn’t matter to me, but Gary’s partial to the crunchy.  It’s the yummiest with just the right amount of salt, flavorful roast and a perfect not-too-smooth grind.  It’s also reasonably priced.

In a pinch, I’ll do Smucker’s All Natural, but 365 Everyday Value brand is our top pick.  Love it.  Also, Peanut Butter Boy feels the same way.  So does SlashFood.

  • Kirkland Brand (at Costco) is a good one too. Just organic nuts and salt at a great price! I’m with you too- creamy or crunchy… either way works for me… but Scott prefers the crunch. Maybe it’s a man thing? :)

I love the Whole Foods brand also. I buy several when I am in Cary. I store the jars upside down so that the oil goes to the bottom of the jar when it is first opened. Of course, some stirring is still necessary.
