I hoped I would be spared, but the germs from Gary’s cold bombarded my defenses a little too much. Not laid out sick, but enough to be less chipper and sinus-headachey and all. You know, enough to warrant dropping the planned ride to my body can get ahead of the little buggers. I probably would have felt fine once I got going on the bike, but it risked extending the severity and length of the illness. Here’s hoping I feel up to a run by tomorrow. I don’t really want to skip two days in a row of exercise.
So far, Remy is healthy. Here’s hoping my antibodies kick this cold to the curb without it going full-fledged so I can feed the little man these germ resistors through my milk supply. That’s a nifty trick that nature has. Hope it works!
