One day Remy started sticking out his tongue all the time. Not sure why, but it was cute. Then as quickly as that habit came, it was replaced by the spitting. Minutes of zerbert type spits. Since he doesn’t seem to do this when he’s completely engaged in something, we think it might be a sign of boredom or, in the case of the pissy sounding spits, an indicator of a dirty diaper.
It’s hard not to laugh when he does this and it always gets our attention, so we’re only encouraging this behavior that won’t be so cute when he gets bigger. But who knows. Maybe it will disappear all of the sudden like the tongue thing, only to be replaced by something errr…better.
Because he only does this when he’s alone in his crib or only Gary and/or I are around (presumably because we are boring in comparison to other people), I wanted to get this on video. So we have. Enjoy. At least the computer screen view keeps the saliva off your face.


That’s too funny. I wonder if Moana will start doing that? She does the tongue out thing a lot now (but usually only when I stick mine out at her…
