My mother- and father-in-law are into being grandparents, so it’s a good thing that they moved from Chicago a few years ago to retire in Beautfort, NC. We drove out Saturday and spent the night and came back not too long ago.
Remy was a doll– smiling, laughing and cooing his cute self to all who would look and listen. Care must be taken in holding him, though, because he’s been testing himself with sudden movements and doesn’t know his strength. He might be still one short moment then jumping off in some direction the next. We brought the camera but forgot to take pictures. Oops.
Having so many willing hands to hold the little wild man left me some extra time to get a little work done plus an hour run. I hoped to hook up with a friend also in the area for the weekend for a ride, but is was all day rainy. Oh well. I had a good wet run. I have no idea what pace, but I figure it was in the 8:30 minute range.
Next time your in Beaufort let me know, we are just over the bridge. We could do a run or something! Glad all went well!
