We have a small table with a basket next to the front door that has a variety of things including sunglasses, a big or two, drool rags, stopwatch, MP3 player, etc. Also next to the basket is the living room chair I normally sit in. That basket is the most fascinating thing ever to Remy. I think that’s partly because baby’s like to stare at things that are different. I seem to recall a study from my college psych classes where babies would stare longer at something unusual or unexpected. The appeal of this basket must be the variety of items that change position every time he gets a chance to stare at it. Remy loves staring at the magic basket.
