It’s not so bad as really starting over, but dang I did some things that made me look like I hadn’t ridden one of them thar fancy carbon road bikes before. You know, the ones with skinny wheels? Well I have ridden my road bike before but it’s been a fair while. That’s my excuse for having to slow way down the first couple times I went for the water bottle in the cage for a sip of water. Oh, and the time I swerved left when looking back over my shoulder for traffic. Luckily, the traffic was far back.
While I’m off being a doof on skills I’m supposed to be good at, Remy is increasing his skillset in leaps and bounds. His recent tummy time has been mostly coordinating arm and leg crawling motions instead of head lifts. Well, tonight we were treated with high head lifts for far longer than we’ve ever seen him do before. Has Remy been doing secret training? Where did this come from? So, anyway, when do baby’s usually learn to crawl? We have some baby proofing to do around here.
