Sometime in the o-dark-early hours this morning I put on a size small T-shirt and realized it fit. OK, well, the belly still has a paunch poking out and the shirt is a wee tight around the…erm…chest area, but it still fits. Size small! Clothing changes at night are commonplace because apparently all this milk manufacturing is hard enough work to cause night sweats.
Now for the big news. Today I rode Nancy for the first time since a week before giving birth. It was awesome. Better than running. I love cycling.

I’m having night sweats already – I can only imagine what they are going to be like post-partum!
Glad you got back on your bike!
Right after Elena was born, I seriously thought that my old clothes would NEVER fit me again. I had so much weight to lose and it was really frustrating to have a closet full of clothes and nothing even remotely fit. I continued to wear maternity pants for at least a couple months after she was born. I can totally relate to what an accomplishment it is to fit into pre-pregnancy clothes.
Also, I think it is great that Remy is having no trouble with a bottle. I have numerous friends who delayed introducing a bottle and then their babies just flat out refused. So basically, for an entire year, the mom could never be away for more than a couple hours.
