I put on my size medium sweater today that I had bought with my early size increase in mind. I looked in the mirror forwards and sidewards. Eh. A little tight, but not bad. So long as I wear two shelf bra camisoles to keep the girls where they belong, I should be able to pull this off one more time.
Then I go about my business putting on jewelry and whatever else it is I do when I get dressed. I later catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror and see that the bottom of the sweater has crawl-scrunched partway up my belly. Oops. Time to retire this one.
I seem to have arrived at that point where my tops are too tight and the maternity style tops are kind of big. I think it’s time to go big, in the most non-training and non-racing sense possible. Yes, people, I’m four months pregnant and it’s time to break out the maternity wear.
The low rise size 8 slacks are still holding me in good stead, though, since the new growth is all in the mid- to upper-belly area. Since I only have one pair of maternity pants, and those aren’t really the most attractive things ever, it’s a good thing.

Sometimes we ALL need to keep the girls in place. Some, more than others. Am looking forward to catching up with your blog. Thanks for the email… it made me nearly fall over laughing – which in my condition, is not all that good. Very funny. Thanks
