Chilly Cheeks

Feeling pretty good today.  Gary keeps laughing at me prancing around announcing, “Look at my belly! Look at my chest! Look how big they are!”  Ha ha ha.  I’m so funny.  Good thing Crumpler enjoys my humor.  Otherwise, I’d be bopping around saying things to amuse myself.  I much prefer to have an appreciative audience.

I went out in the chilly air early this evening out on the American Tobacco Trail (ATT).  For the out of towners, this is a rails to trails initiative that gets pretty crowded on warm, pleasant days.  I usually ride my cross bike, because it’s slower and therefore easier to dodge foot and other two-wheeled traffic, which is what I did today.  There weren’t so many other people on the trail today though.

Other than my cold cheeks (both sets) and the fact that I had to pee something fierce when I was only halfway done, it was a good ride.  I gawked at the runners in shorts and wondered when I’d be able to do some more running myself.  I haven’t tried since Monday.  I’d like to try and get a tight spot out of my left calf before trying again.  I have been stretching more, along with the twice weekly yoga, so I’m feeling more flexible in general, which is good.
