After not working out yesterday, I figured I’d be all adventurous and do a 3 hour ride today. I talked Alisha into joining me on the roads and we waited on the cool, drizzly conditions in the morning to pass and rolled around noon. We met up with Richard and John out near Jordan Lake and they joined us, originally out for a 2 hour ride themselves. We had a blast. We went here and there and covered roads I haven’t ridden in a while. The weather was good and the sun came out. We rode more. All said and done, my 3 hour ride turned into 4 hours. OK, you know, it’s not exactly super long, but I haven’t ridden that long in months. We ride again tomorrow.
P.S. I also got some good iBike data on this ride. The verdict? An average of 140 something watts. Ha ha ha ha ha!!! I’m so fit– NOT.
