Monday was tough. That was the pukey of all pukey days. I was going to ride the Powercranks that night but instead I collapsed into a nappy nap. Sometimes the bun has more sway than the oven, you know what I mean?
Tuesday was better. I rode an hour with a co-worker over lunch even though it was only in the mid-30′s and threatened to drop precipitation on us (it didn’t really). It was awesome. I felt good. The afternoon was pretty queasy, but not as bad. I wasn’t able to eat as much dinner, but that’s OK. Here’s the output from the iBike.
Today was betterer. I stayed ahead of the nausea by eating a little something every time there was the slightest threat of the feeling. No heavy or greasy foods. Speaking of, I used to eat peanut butter at a rate of jars per week but since I’ve been pregnant? None. Not interested. So I went for a slow jog today and a short stint on the Powercranks. Feeling pretty good today. Awesome.

Wait till the second trimester, you will have loads of energy!
hilarious… bun overriding the oven. stay well! ~AL
So Gary reads this post last night and thinks, “Mmmmm…peanut butter…sounds good!” and slops some peanut butter and jelly in a mug for his enjoyment and proceeds to sit down with that smelly stuff on the SAME COUCH I’m sitting on and overwhelming me with the pungent fragrance of my ex-favorite nut spread. He finds my reaction humorous. Ha ha. Live it up while you can hubby.
As a fellow pregnant (and pukey) triathlete in her first trimester (came across your blog the other day…so nice to see a fellow one!)….good luck. Big Red gum and Gatorade (not together) have been good to me to scare the nausea away.
Look forward to reading more….Kate
I think I have just discovered my cure for peanut butter obsession – get pregnant. HA!
