It must be the lower temperatures these past few days. The water tonight was lovely. Couldn’t have been more than low 80′s with some cooler spots and the chop was minimal.
Amie and I swam to the bridge buoy, back to the point, out a little further then back, for a total of 2.8 miles and about an hour and 20 minutes. Felt good.
Even the drinking/smoking jet-skiers were mindful of us swimmers. There’s room enough for both swimmers and motorized water thrill-seekers after all.
